I have come here for some help please. I have a severe to moderate hearing loss high frequency and the on board motherboard sound card is not working out so well for me. I am hoping to upgrade. I purchased several of the SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion SB0080's and the SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional's probably 3-4 years ago. I never even opened the boxes because I was afraid after reading all the driver challenges.

I simply left them in my closet. I have decided to give it a try now.

I hope I am not too late. Can someone here please help me understand the process to install this model of Creative Soundblaster: SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion SB0080? It came with the X-Fi I/O Drive. Here's my new rig I recently built: Intel i5-3570 ASRock Z77 Extreme4 GeForce 560Ti Seasonic SS660XP Platinum Corsair Vengeance 1600 16GB CM HAF X Blue Antec H20 620 Intel 180GB SATA III 520 WD Black Caviar 2 TB Seagate Green 3 TB Gentle Typhoons 3 Scythe Fan Controller w/Temps Here's my questions: What specific drivers do you recommend? I read that I first uninstall the MB audio drivers with Driver Sweeper. Is this correct? I read I then install the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Hardware next.

Is this correct? Which slot on my motherboard do you recommend?

I posted a pic of my rig with the various slots I read I then install the software drivers. Is this this the correct order? What drivers should I use? Should I allow Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit choose the drivers, or should I use Creative drivers, or something else?

Finally, do you have any other suggestions on other software? I would like to avoid bloatware please. Please help me out. Presently, I struggle to hear movies clearly when I use a headset in the front audio jack of my rig.even with sound 100%. Lots of sounds/voices are muffled.

I am hoping someone might walk me through the process so I do not totally mess something up on my rig. Any and all help would be so much appreciated. Thank you, Soar.
